The new DVD release of Destiny of the Daleks features a documentary on Terry Nation titled 'Terror Nation'. Its a great piece and contains some very vintage film and audio of Terry Nation. Also included are interviews with people who worked with Terry over the years.

The BBC have obtained the rights to Terry Nations novel 'Survivors', and will be basing a new television series on it.

The post-apocalyptic story was a great passion of Terry Nations which spilled over into his real life. Like the characters in the book he tried to make his house in the English countryside self-sufficient. The experiment saw Terry and his family plant a field of crops and tend a flock of chickens and several goats.

I cant wait for the new series!
