On Friday September 29th the Guiness Book of World records announced that Doctor Who was the longest running television show of its type. Starting in 1963 over 700 episodes have been produced. A major milestone indeed!

This website is about Terry Nation. Terry was one of the most significant contributors to British television and radio. His legacy still lives on amongst an active fan base. Doctor Who, Blakes 7 and the Avengers are only a few of the very popular shows he wrote for. Check out the filmography for a more complete list.

I wanted to create this site as an online resource for people interested in his career, and also to report any new developments stemming from it. The popularity of the new Doctor Who series has increased intrest in his work. As Terry's son I have access to many relevant resources and thought the time was right to make this site.

I decided to go live with it now, even though it is still very much a work in progress. The filmography is still incomplete and I'm sure there are bugs in my code, but I will keep adding and improving upon it. So check back now and again to see whats new.
